This week we are exploring that the word mass is another word for weight. Today we used scales to test to see what item had a greater mass than another object. Ask your child to tell you what objects they tested in class and which one had a greater mass.
Our tradition and celebration presentations are going very well and we have two days left of presentations. Students are enjoying making connections to the different celebrations and continue to connect with families getting together to have fun, make memories, light candles or lights, eat yummy food, and give gifts to those we care about. The class quilts they are making in their journals are coming along well and it is a wonderful way to demonstrate their understanding of their peers' traditions.
This week our library is on Thursday for all students in our class. Please remember to return all library books by Thursday.
Friday is our last day of classes until the new year. Students are invited to wear their pjs if they would like.
