Reminder that picture day is tomorrow morning.
Today we worked on creating patterns with numbers, we went to the pond as scientists and looked around to see things we wondered about: why are some leaves turning colours and others aren't, why are there only ducks at the pond, why are leaves darker on one side?
While at the pond, students worked together to create pattens using items from nature. One partner created a core and the partner finished the pattern. Ask your child to tell you, or show you, what a core is in a pattern.
