Reminder that library books are due back Tuesday for Mrs. Brice and Wednesday for Mrs. Bredahl.
This week we took a walk to the pond to go over expectations as well as to find a tree that our class is going to sketch through the seasons. We looked at the coniferous trees and learned about the larch and how it loses it's needles in the fall. We also learned that the other trees that change colour and lose their leaves are called deciduous trees.
Today was International Dot Day and we read the book 'The Dot' by Peter Reynolds. Students were then given a dot to place anywhere on their page as a starting point. They created pictures that incorporated the dot in some way. We will finish colouring these pictures next week.
